Find your perfect React starter project

December 06, 2015
Update 2017-7-14: Now a total of 143 starter projects. Thanks to everyone who submitted pull requests!

Looking for a React starter project? If you are, you probably had no problem finding one. In fact, you probably found TONS of them.

The boilerplate projects that pop out first have lots of github stars - AND lots of packages/dependencies. That can be overwhelming.

Here's what I hear from developers:

I'm looking for a very simple starter pack... I don't need all the hoopla.

For a starter project to be simple, it needs to have everything you need and nothing you don't.

That's why I created the React Starter Project Search Tool. I've cataloged 100+ React starter projects, and the effort is ongoing. So whether you want vanilla JavaScript, a particular variety of flux, or none of the above, you'll find what you need here.

Just type in the modules or tags you want in the first field (separated by commas), and the modules/tags you DON'T want in the second field, and your perfect starter project will pop out!

So, did you find your perfect starter project?

Don't start it alone! Sign up for my newsletter and I'll send you useful tools like this one.

To add your starter project to the list, see the contributing section of tool-list.
